Worksite Ergonomic Assessment

A worksite assessment is the evaluation of task requirements in relation to the work environment as well as worker capability. It includes:

Information Gathering Process

  • Brief description of the evaluation request

Worksite Visit

  • Observe workstations and workers while they perform tasks
  • Compile on-site measurements and dimensions
  • Conduct interviews (personnel concerned: workers, supervisors, health & safety reps, ...)

Data Analysis

  • Risk factor identification
  • Recommendations

Considerations include work methods, equipment, work organization and the workers, plus supervisory training.

At Synetik conseil, our services are noteworthy owing to our direct involvement in the recommendation implementation process.

A worksite assessment may be required for one specific worker or an entire workstation in general:

-For preventive purposes (worksite optimization, improved work techniques, equipment acquisition)
-To correct existing situations (Ex: workers experiencing discomfort at workstation)
